Abstract:
A current challenge against the background of global integration processes and, accordingly, professional training, is the process of active digitalization. The development and implementation of the latest digital capabilities, in particular, the active involvement of «cloud» computing and artificial intelligence technologies, creates the prerequisites for the global transformation of requests and requirements for specialists, transforms the content of professional duties and significantly affects the formation of demand for competencies. The outlined situation proves the need for theoretical and empirical scientific research on the digital adaptation of the process of training specialists for professional activities in the conditions of digitalization of education. Among the main prerequisites for the formation of effective digital optimization of professional training of future specialists, the involvement of interdisciplinary integration tools by creating an interdisciplinary educational environment, the involvement of innovative technologies for organizing professional training activities for modeling interdisciplinary professional cases, as well as the integration of professional and general areas of professional training in accordance with current requirements are highlighted. Digital education is becoming an increasingly important component of higher education, and therefore digital competence as a key ability for all employees should become an integral part of all disciplines for the professional training of specialists for professional activity in the conditions of digitalization of education. Five strategies for supporting specialists in the development of digital competence are revealed. The process of building relationships between a teacher and those who study in the conditions of digital education is shown. Today’s student is a very mobile person who has quick access to any information, wants to receive not theoretical, but practically-oriented knowledge, is well acquainted with information technologies, therefore does not want to receive information traditionally. These changes pose new tasks for the teacher: mastering information competencies at a modern level in order to keep up with students; developing relevant and interesting material on the discipline, to develop motivation to study the subject in students, using new interesting and effective learning technologies (technologies, quest technologies, design technologies, creatively-oriented technologies) including online learning; forming control materials capable of checking not only knowledge, but also the level of competence formation.
