Abstract:
The article presents a theoretical interpretation of the current scientific problem, which lies in the revelation of psychological characteristics and the formation of national self-esteem in the context of the process of self-realization. Based on the analysis of current scientific approaches, the concept that national self-knowledge is clarified - by making the nation aware of its unity and its place among other groups of a similar type on the basis of statements about oneself and representatives of other nations. The nation, as a historically formed form of organization of human life, has objective and subjective aspects. Objectively, they are expressed in sociocultural connections and sovereignty, and subjectively, in national self-esteem. National self-knowledge is identified as a form of suspenseful knowledge, which has socio-political differences on one side and ethnic-cultural differences on the other; the reflexive zeal of national knowledge is seen as the basis for self-realization of specialness. The main elements of national self-confidence, which influence the self-realization of specialness, are systematized and characterized. The entire set of elements of national self-esteem is perceived as a system of mechanisms that create several levels: cognitive, affective, behavioral, identification. It is noted that national self-knowledge, as a form of self-knowledge, can recognize changes under the influence of not only internal, but also external reasons and flows into the development of the function self-realization of specialness. It turns out that national self-awareness is an integral element, the function of which is to reduce the optimal level of awareness of various types of mentality, mentality, and regional. The article agrees on the need for integration of different approaches with a more objective and comprehensive interpretation of the data of these categories. National self-awareness of its structure and forms will manifest itself as a complex phenomenon that will require an integrated, interdisciplinary approach. Instead of self-identification, there are ethno-social phenomena to form a cognitive-rational level of national self-esteem.
