Abstract:
The transition of society from the industrial to the post-industrial era of development is accompanied by a multitude of contradictory, sometimes destructive social processes that hinder the development of social relations and self-organization of modern society. In these conditions, the role of law enforcement officers in building civil society is increasing, and the social function of ensuring the safety of citizens, protecting their legitimate rights and interests is becoming dominant in the professional activities of law enforcement officers. The methodological foundations of training law enforcement professionals for social interaction with adolescents are based on a comprehensive combination of legal, psychological, pedagogical, and communicative knowledge. Legal and regulatory regulation of law enforcement activities as target guidelines for improving the quality of social services provided to the population in law enforcement activities determines the provision of a policy of open social interaction with citizens and with all social institutions of the state and civil society. The State Educational Standard for Training a Law Enforcement Specialist as an Educational Outcome contains a wide list of social competencies, possession of which at the normative level is a mandatory requirement for a graduate. The results of the study of educational practice indicate that in the professional training of future law enforcement specialists, as before, a professional approach and subject relations prevail, which contribute to the formation of an active subject of modern society. There is a particularly urgent need for a theoretical, methodological and practice-oriented solution to the problem of socialization, social education and the formation of social experience of cadets and students in conditions of dynamically changing social reality.
