Hulya Seferoglu is a Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She received her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining UIC, she was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also held short-term research positions at AT&T Labs Research, Docomo USA Labs, and Microsoft Research. She served as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking. She is the recipient of an NSF CAREER Award and the 2025 IEEE LANMAN Best Paper Award. Her CV is here.
