Findings

A few interesting findings include:

• When looking at the bar graph for all entries, there was a steep decline close to the center of 2020.

  • This could no doubt be attributed to COVID-19 shutting everything down during that time

• Looking at those same bar graphs, O'Hare Airport has the most entries throughout out of all the three stations.

  • This makes sense as a lot of people who come out of O'Hare Airport need many ways of making it where they need to go, the CTA is one of those ways

• Looking at the day of the week graphs, for Cumberland and UIC-Halsted, there are more entries on weekdays than there are on weekends

  • This is presumably bacause people use these stops as a way to commute to school or work

• Looking at that same timeframe filter, for O'Hare Airport, the number of entries spikes on Friday

  • This might be because people are traveling (by plane) to visit their loved ones for the weekend
