My interest in AI sparked from my work as a contractor for ArteraAI, an AI startup focused on using AI for cancer care. I am eager to learn about and engage with AI through this group and am excited to explore the effects AI will have on clinical practice.

Hi! I am a UIC MSTP student studying applied and theoretical deep learning on biomedical images, primarily in the ophthalmic space. I believe that AI can be used to create a more equitable and efficient healthcare system which both patients and physicians will benefit from. When I'm not at my computer, I like to play basketball (poorly) and sleep.

As a MSTP student, I am currently engaged in bioinformatics research using innovative AI approaches in the Computational Functional Genomics Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Yang Dai. I am dedicated to unlocking the transformative potential of AI in healthcare and hope to bridge the gap between advanced technology and medical breakthroughs.
