Debanjan Chatterjee was born in Kolkata, India, on 15th November, 1991. He received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University , India in 2015. He is working on his PhD degree in Power Electronics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) from 2015. He works on "Switching sequence and switching transition control of wide band gap power electronic converters" under Prof. Sudip K Mazumder.

Debanjan has:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with real-time hardware implementation of advanced linear and non-linear control systems, hardware debugging and testing of GaN and SiC based power electronic systems.
