"ICT plays an important role in street food safety and management because it provides platforms for gathering and analyzing information. For example, mobile applications can be created to educate street food vendors on hygiene procedures, track foodborne illnesses, and advise authorities of any safety hazards. ICT platforms can also enable customers to voice their opinions and report issues, which promotes a sense of responsibility and continual improvements in street food safety procedures. Street food vendors and regulatory organizations can work together more successfully to guarantee the highest standards of food safety by utilizing ICT, which will improve public health and wellbeing."

"ICT plays an important role in guaranteeing the safety of street meals by facilitating improved monitoring, tracking, and communication of food hygiene standards. It can play an important role in ensuring that these vendors follow safety standards by improving real-time data gathering, processing, and distribution. For example, one may use mobile apps during hygiene inspections to trace food sources and provide timely feedback to dealers. Furthermore, by assisting communication networks to function successfully between markets, vocational learning experiences will be improved for both sellers and contributors."
"Before, learning was done traditionally. Print material, handouts, entire pages of copied text from books. Even advocacy posters were handwritten. However, now that we have reached the 21st Century, we are in the age when we have a multitude of platforms and softwares that can lessen the workload but increase productivity by tenfold. As such, making this ICT project seemed like an outstanding feat for us as a group, because not only could we use our voices to innovate different ways to advocate for street food safety, but it also motivates us to strive for social change in newer ways than before.
From start to finish, making the project seemed like a hassle to some. It was initially difficult to think of methods to persuade the audience to hear what we have to say. Now, as I am surrounded by people who support my endeavors, I believe that this project is just one of the baby steps for the social change that we want to pursue, especially when considering how each it now is to encourage these changes due to the availability and freeness of these online platforms.
It is time to embrace the new, for the old has set us free!"
"Reflecting on the issue, it is evident that enhancing street food safety is crucial for protecting public health and preventing illnesses that can have severe consequences on consumers. By leveraging ICT solutions, street food vendors can improve their food handling practices, while consumers can make informed choices based on vendors' safety practices."
"Street foods are one of the 'Tatak Pinoy Pride' products of the Philippines and with the uprising cases of fake news, we cannot let false information spread locally and internationally. For me, it is important to address this issue especially since we are dealing with food and safety standards. Helping vendors be educated is our way to help strengthen our products and as well as ending the stigma when it comes to street foods. Also, incorporating ICT into our advocacy is crucial in helping us achieve our goals. It helped us reach and spread our advocacy better than traditional methods since we are now in a society where social media is prevalent. Overall, I think addressing issues such as ours, needs ICT for a much more favorable outcome."
"With the increasing incidence of illnesses because of street food, ICT plays a key role in the safety of street foods by allowing today's mobile applications and digital platforms to monitor vendors in compliance with hygiene standards and guidelines. It promotes the use of blockchain technology to track the supply chain of ingredients used in making street food, from the market to the plate. Through the "Tuhog" campaign, ICT can be very useful in advocating people's safeness and source of awareness. With ICT solutions, we strengthen consumers' capacity to make better decisions regarding the foods they consume while promoting a healthier and more sustainable street food culture in the Philippines."
"This concept isn't just about spreading information, it's about making a difference in people's lives, including mine. Through the power of social media and digital tools, we're not just sharing facts, we're spreading awareness about the risks we face when indulging in the variety of street food among of streets of not only the Philippines, but everywhere around the world. Given how many fall ill from consuming contaminated food, it's necessary to make sure that nobody goes through with the situation. With Operation TUHOG, we're not just talking about regulations and guidelines, we're talking about protecting our communities, our families, and ourselves. It's about empowering people with the knowledge to make safer choices, and that's something the majority should be passionate about."
