Welcome Union Hill Kindergarten Families,
Kindergarten, the first step into formal learning for your child, is a time of adventure, discovery, and growth. At Union Hill School, the staff of five certificated instructors truly make transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten all that and more. Your child, as part of our program, will have multiple caring adults who work closely on their emotional and academic growth. As you know, it is a team effort that supports your child as they begin a life-long journey of learning, and parents are a key part of that team. I thank you for taking the time to look closely at the Union Hill TK and kindergarten programs, and do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.

Union Hill’s transitional kindergarten program is a bridge between preschool and kindergarten designed for, but not limited to, children who turn five years old between September 2 and December 2. It gives young learners a head start and provides them with an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social needs.
Transitional kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience. It provides children with an enriched early childhood education program to build a foundation of social and academic success in kindergarten and throughout their school careers.
