Joanna Lewis Monique Cadieux Nathalie Lauriault



Monique Cadieux

Monique has been a teacher with the Upper Grand District School Board for 17 years and has taught in both the primary and junior divisions, as well as having worked as a Teacher-Librarian. She has an English degree from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Education from York University. She had a prior career in Social Work. Monique has enjoyed many successful projects with community partners including the Guelph Film Festival and ARTSSMARTS. Monique is passionate about teaching from an inquiry stance and bringing focus to important 21st century competencies.

Nathalie Lauriault

Nathalie is a French Immersion teacher with the Upper Grand District School Board. She has taught for over 30 years in mostly bilingual classroom settings. Previously, she served as the Primary Years Program Coordinator a the Toronto French School school and was very involved with the International Baccalaureate of America as a presenter and consultant. She is certified in Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction by H. Lynn Erickson. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Guelph and Bachelor of Education from Queen's University in Canada.​

Joanna Lewis

Joanna is a French Immersion teacher with the Upper Grand District School Board. She has taught Music, Dance, Drama, Science and Social Studies over the past few years and has been able to successfully teach from an inquiry stance as a planning time teacher. Joanna has a French degree from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Education from The University of New Brunswick (with a certificate in Teaching French as a Second Language).
