Even at six years old, I knew I wanted to pursue journalism. College Gameday was my favorite show, and my father would always tell me that if I worked diligently, I could sit at that desk someday. While my interests have shifted, my passion for journalistic pursuits still burns.
The political unrest of 2020 sparked my passion for global politics. While I played football throughout high school, I felt called elsewhere. A friend and I produced over 30 episodes of our Keep it 100 Sports Podcast, which garnered over 1,000 listeners per episode. I later produced A Dragon Rises from a Small Stream, a short documentary on Korean film. I enrolled at Tulane University in the Summer of 2023 to play football.
After my freshman season at Tulane, I transferred to the University of Georgia to pursue journalism. As a sophomore, I wrote for the Red & Black and produced recaps and features on UGA women’s basketball. I also write for DawgsCentral, which has provided me the opportunity to write articles on UGA football and men's basketball. These publications have provided me the opportunity to showcase my talents and hone my grasp of the written word.
