Bronco Hall of Fame
Name: Rhyan Hood
Grad Year: 2025
Position: Defender/Midfielder/Forward
Accomplishments: Rhyan was another in a talented pool of four-year starters for the Broncos, captaining the team in both her junior and senior seasons. Rhyan earned 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-Racine County in all four of her seasons with the Broncos, as a defender in her first two seasons, then as a mid during her junior year, before heading up top as a senior. Rhyan was Honorable Mention All-State as a junior and PENDING as a senior, Nominated for the senior Masonic All-Star game, and she won 4 conference title in four seasons. Further, Rhyan was the Bronco's leading scorer during her senior season that saw UG earn their first-ever #1 state ranking (D2). "Rhyan was a game-changer at every level, probably the most talented soccer player we've ever had, and that's a tremendous statement... but she was an equally incredible kid and her impact on UG soccer will last forever" said Coach Jung about Hood. Rhyan attends UW-Madison and is majoring in Biology.
Name: Julia James
Grad Year: 2024
Position: Midfielder/Forward
Accomplishments: Julia was a four-year starter for the Broncos, captaining the team in both her junior and senior seasons. Julia impressively earned 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-Racine County in all four of her seasons with the Broncos, earning Honorable Mention All-State as a junior and senior, while becoming the 4th Bronco to earn Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year in 2024 in route to her 3 conference title in four seasons. Julia is the all-time winningest Bronco, winning 57 matches with the squad during her incredible career. She is first all-time in career goals scored (84 goals) as well as career points (193 pts.). Perhaps even more impressive is Julia's academic prowess, becoming the second-ever Bronco soccer star to earn valedictorian (Mya Peterson 2017). "Julia is such an incredible young lady, athletically gifted, unmatched soccer talent, humbling intellect, and just an overall fantastic kid. She was such a talent but an even better leader and person" said Coach Jung about James. Julia currently attends Georgia Tech to study aerospace engineering.
Name: Makayla Mackiewicz
Grad Year: 2024
Position: Goalkeeper
Accomplishments: Makayla ("Mak") took over the Bronco varsity nets as a freshman in 2021 and never looked back. Over the course of her career Mak shattered several Bronco records, holding the single-game save record with an impossible 24 saves at Whitefish Bay during her freshman year, while amassing 41 career shutouts (1st all-time) and 286 saves (1st all-time) during her tenure. Mak earned Honorable Mention All-Racine County in 2022, earning the same in the Southern Lakes in 2023 before receiving 2nd Team All-Conference & 1st Team All-Racine County as a senior in 2024, while also being team captain. Mak was known for her impressive shot-stopping ability and aggressive play off her line, making her one the best UG keepers of all-time. "Mak just had the perfect mindset for a goalkeeper; fearless, wanting the action, wanting the ball... she kept us in so many games over the years and thrived against the best teams. Certainly one of our best-ever, what a special kid!" said Coach Jung of Mackiewicz. Makayla currently attends UW Eau Claire.
Name: Lexi Pettit
Grad Year: 2023
Position: Midfielder
Accomplishments: Lexi (Alexa) lost her freshman year due to the Covid pandemic, but amassed several records during her three-year varsity career, captaining the team as a senior. Lexi scored 51 career goals and recorded 41 career assists (2nd all-time), totaling 143 points (3rd all-time). She earned 2nd Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-Racine County as a sophomore, before earning 1st Team in both areas as a junior and senior. Beyond that, Lexi also earned honorable mention All-State in 2023, becoming just the second-ever Bronco to make Wisconsin's top roster (Panyk '19). Lexi was a dominant force in the Bronco midfield during her time, with impressive athleticism and speed to accompany her unparalleled 1v1 ability. Her best match may very-well have been her 2-goal performance in the 2-1 sectional win over DeForest in 2023. "Lexi was incredible in every way on the pitch, but even more incredible off of it. She's a model for every future Bronco to follow, phenomenal athlete, top student, and even better kid" summarized Coach Jung about Pettit. Lexi continues her soccer career playing at Concordia St. Paul University in Minnesota (click HERE).
Name: Sophia Rampulla
Grad Year: 2023
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Sophia is well known all around Racine County for her incredible UGHS basketball career, but she was also an incredibly-gifted soccer player as well. Sophia started in the Bronco backline for all three of her years with the soccer program (lost her freshman year due to Covid), part of 32 shutouts over that period of time. Despite being a central defender, Sophia scored 12 career goals with 5 career assists, thanks to impressive athletic ability and a cannon for a right leg. Sophia would take nearly all Bronco set-pieces, attack on corners, and spend time at forward if UG needed a boost in the attack. Her efforts earned her 2nd Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-County as both a junior and senior, after having earned honorable mention in both as a sophomore. "Everyone knows her for basketball, but if she wanted to, she could've played soccer in college too, and at a very high level. She's the ultimate all-around athlete but so much more; a leader, our rock, and a great kid" commented Coach Jung about Rampulla. Sophia is now attending UW-Milwaukee and playing basketball for the Panthers (click HERE).
Name: Paige Cotton
Grad Year: 2022
Position: Forward
Accomplishments: Paige was a 4-year varsity starter (anticipated starter in 2020) and captain her senior year. She earned 2nd Team All-Conference & All-County as a junior, before having one of the greatest season's in UG soccer history during her senior year. Paige set the single-season goal-scoring mark with 34 goals, and the single-season points mark with 82. As a result, she was named 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-County, Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year, and Honorable Mention All-State in WI. Paige's incredible season was capped by two goals in the sectional semifinals, a 2-1 win over Waukesha West that sent the Broncos to their first-ever sectional final. "Paige invested her whole heart and soul into this soccer team for four years and earned every award, every record, and ever accolade. What an incredible young lady" commented Coach Jung. Paige attended South Dakota St. University and plans to join the UGHS Lady Bronco coaching staff in 2026.
Name: Samantha Fleischman
Grad Year: 2022
Position: Defender/Mid
Accomplishments: Sam was a 3-year varsity starter (anticipated starter in 2020) and 2-year team captain. Sam started every match of her junior year at centerback, helping the Broncos to 7 shutouts in a Covid-shortened season, and earning her 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-County honors. During her senior season, Sam moved into midfield and helped the Broncos amass 95 goals (2nd all-time) and 14 more clean sheets, earning her Honorable Mention All-Conference & 2nd Team All-County. "Sam was the ultimate leader, both vocally and by example... all the girls had tremendous respect for her and so did I. What a great kid" said Coach Jung of Fleischman. Sam is younger sister to Bronco boys' mid Dylan, and she continues her playing career at MSOE (HERE)..
Name: Mia Guyton
Grad Year: 2020
Position: Goalkeeper
Accomplishments: Mia was a 3-year varsity starter (would've been 4 if not for COVID Season Cancellation in 2020) and holds the UG record for both single season (16) and career shutouts (37) while being the only goalkeeper to earn a spot in the Bronco Soccer Hall of Fame (she's also 2nd all-time with 211 career saves). Mia was 2nd Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-County as a freshman, before earning HM in both as a sophomore, and then finally HM All-Conference as a junior while earning 2nd Team All-County despite tearing her ACL late in the spring (senior season was cancelled). Mia was a vital part of back-to-back Southern Lakes Conference titles for the Broncos in 2018 & 2019, making 6 huge saves against Burlington in the championship match to preserve a 1-0 win in 2018. "Mia was our best overall athlete for four years and the best goalkeeper the girls program has ever seen. She was our energy and our spark for so long and she will be awesome at the next level" said Coach Jung about Guyton. Mia went on to play goalkeeper at UW-Parkside, graduating in 2024.
Name: Megan Barber
Grad Year: 2020
Position: Midfielder
Accomplishments: Megan was a 3-year varsity starter (would've been 4 if not for COVID Season Cancellation in 2020) and her name riddles the UG offensive leaderboards despite missing out on her senior season. Megan was 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-County for all three of her playing years, likely to be named to the WI All-State squad in 2021 had the season been played. Megan joined Alexa Panyk as only the second Lady Bronco to earn a Senior Masonic All-Star game nomination, a match that was played "digitally" using FIFA '21 with constructed player profiles. Meg was perhaps the most talented overall player in UGHS history, with impressive technical ability, an excellent distributer of the ball, and she could score from anywhere on the pitch inside of 40-yards. "Meg was an elite midfield player, did everything a coach could ever want and so much more... no team could handle her. What a special player and special kid, she'll dominate in college" summarized Coach Jung when talking about Barber. Megan continued her career at UW-Oshkosh, following in mom's footsteps (who was a HOF basketball player)..
Name: Kayla Maurer
Grad Year: 2020
Position: Midfielder
Accomplishments: Kayla was a 3-year varsity starter (would've been 4 if not for COVID Season Cancellation in 2020) and 2-year team captain. Kayla earned Honorable Mention All-Conference & All-County as a sophomore, before earning 2nd Team All-Conference and HM All-County as a junior (likely to be 1st Team in both as a senior). Kayla was a physically dominant presence on the soccer field, completely controlling central midfield with a tenacity that was unmatched. More than just a gifted tackler however, Kayla's technical ability and knack for scoring huge goals were trumped only by her unparalleled tenacity instilling fear in all opponents. Kayla's biggest goal came in 2017, scoring an incredible one-time volley goal against Elkhorn in the Southern Lakes Conference semi-finals that pushed UG into their first-ever SLC Championship match. She's also 3rd all-time with 30 career assists. "Kayla is the kid you pray to have in your program, she was a leader far beyond her years with a genuine, honest character that every girl in the program loved & respected... not to mention one of the best mids we've ever had. What a kid" finished Coach Jung. Kayla recently graduated from Cedarville University in Iowa.
Name: Alexa Panyk
Grad Year: 2019
Position: Forward
Accomplishments: Twin sister to Carlista, Alexa is perhaps the most dominant attacking player in the history of UGHS soccer. Alexa holds nearly every offensive record in the program, including career goals (74), single-season points (52) and career points (189). Alexa was a 4-year varsity starter, playing midfield as a freshman before moving up top in her final 3 seasons. She earned 2nd Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-County as a freshman, before making the 1st Team in both areas in her sophomore, junior, and senior campaigns. She also became the first-ever Bronco (boy or girl) to be named Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year in back-to-back years (2018 & 2019) or to earn an All-State award of any kind (honorable mention), while earning the same Player of the Year honor in Racine County in 2018. Alexa is also the first-ever Lady Bronco to be named to the Senior Masonic All-Star game in WI. "Alexa has helped to transform this program from good to amongst WI's elite. She was dangerous with and without the ball, could change the game in a blink... top character, top class, what a special young lady" summarized Coach Jung.
Name: Carlista Panyk
Grad Year: 2019
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Twin sister to Alexa, Carlista was also a 4-year varsity starter, playing in the Bronco back line each season. Car was an integral part of a Bronco defense that allowed just 44 goals since 2016, earning 57 shutouts along the way. Car was an honorable mention defender in both the Southern Lakes Conference & Racine County as a freshman, before impressively earning 3-straight 1st Team awards in both areas in her final three seasons. "Car was such a dominant back for us over the years, a rock that was unbreakable. She shut down some of WI's very best attackers and brought us to unprecedented defensive quality, but I'll remember her most for type of kid she was... her glow could brighten the darkest of days" commented Coach Jung. Carlista graduated from UW-Madison in 2023.
Name: Natalie Oatsvall
Grad Year: 2019
Position: Forward
Accomplishments: Natalie was a 4-year varsity starter, making all of her starts up top at forward. Natalie is UG's second all-time leading scorer with 47 goals, and sits third on the all-time career points list with 110. She finished her career earning Honorable Mention in the Southern Lakes Conference in her sophomore and senior seasons, while earning 2nd Team as a junior. Nat also earned three-straight Honorable Mention awards in Racine County from her sophomore to senior seasons. "Nat was such an integral part in what we've done for the past 4 years. She can score, she can defend, she can tackle... she just outworked everyone and had the potential to be dominant. What an incredible young lady" said Jung of Oatsvall. Nat continued her soccer career at Upper Iowa University, playing for 3 seasons in the Peacock's attack!
Name: Daphne Sieg
Grad Year: 2019
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Daphne was a 4-year varsity starter, starting every match as a central midfielder as a freshman before moving into the Bronco back line in her sophomore through senior campaigns. Daph earned Honorable Mention All-Conference as a sophomore and junior, but had an exceptional senior season earning her 1st Team All-Conference. She was also nominated for Honorable Mention from her sophomore to senior seasons in Racine County as well. Daph was one of just two 3-year captains in UG soccer history, leading the Bronco's on the field, off the field, during the off-season, in the school hallways, and everywhere else UG soccer had a presence. "Daph was the best leader I've ever coached, her positive attitude was infectious to everyone in such an amazing way... she exemplifies team, but was truly spectacular as an individual as well. The character and belief of our teams' during her 4 years had a lot to do with Daphne" summarized Jung of Sieg. Daphne continued her playing career at UW-Oshkosh, playing all four years as a starting defender and has recently returned to UGHS, joining the Lady Bronco's soccer coaching staff.
Name: Mya Peterson
Grad Year: 2017
Position: Forward
Accomplishments: Mya was a 4-year varsity starter as a UG attacker, a captain in her senior campaign. Mya currently sits 3rd all-time in goal scoring in Bronco soccer history with 46 career goals and 2nd in points with 116 total. Mya was 2nd Team All Southern Lakes Conference during her sophomore and senior seasons, earning 1st Team All Conference in her junior year. She was also 2nd Team All-Racine County as a junior earning honorable mention as a sophomore & senior. Mya led the Broncos in scoring 3 out of her 4 years but may be remembered most for her incredible academic prowess as she became the first Bronco to become class valedictorian. "Mya was a tireless competitor, relentless in the attack and a great leader... she has been a key ingredient in taking our soccer program from middle of the pack to the top" summarized Coach Jung of Mya. Mya graduated from UW-Parkside.
Name: Madi Ruge
Grad Year: 2016
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Madi was a 4-year varsity starter in her career, playing midfield as a freshman before taking over centerback duties in her final 3 years, the last of which she was team captain. Madi was 1st Team All Southern Lakes Conference and 1st Team All Racine County as both a sophomore and senior, earning only honorable mentions as a junior due to an injury-riddled/abbreviated season. Madi was an integral part of the best 4 seasons in UG soccer history at the time, including record defensive efforts in shutouts (16 in 2016) while helping the Broncos amass 47 clean sheets in her impressive career. "Madi was special in so many ways both on and off the soccer field, incredible talent but twice as amazing of a kid" said Coach Jung of Ruge. Madi graduated from the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse with a degree in Bio-Chemistry.
Name: Olivia Wilde
Grad Year: 2015
Position: Midfielder
Accomplishments: Olivia started as a freshman in 2012, but her season was cut short due to injury. Liv elected to play club soccer as a sophomore before returning to the Broncos in her junior and senior years. Her junior season, also abbreviated due to injury, saw her score 7 goals with 2 assists and earn Honorable Mention honors in both the Southern Lakes Conference and in Racine County. Fully healthy in 2015, however, Liv had a record-breaking senior season, scoring 21 goals (remains a program record) with 10 assists, good for 52 points (also best all-time [tied]). "Liv was amazing in all facets of the game, incredible athlete and soccer player... best we've ever had" summarized Coach Jung. Liv was 1st Team All Conference and All County as a senior in 2015, also team captain and class of '15 Salutitorian, and finished a 4-year college career at Southern Indiana University earning Academic All Great Lakes Valley Conference in her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons.
Name: Holly Grajera
Grad Year: 2015
Position: Midfielder
Accomplishments: Holly was a four-year varsity starter, a forward as a freshman, center-mid in her last 3 years while also being a 3-year captain. Holly earned 2nd Team All Conference honors as a sophomore, honorable mention All County, then 1st Team All Conference & 2nd Team All County as a junior, earning the same honors in her senior year. Her impressive 4-year career consisted of 30 goals, 23 assists, and 83 total points. "Holly was the best leader I've ever had, did everything for me and UG Soccer owes a lot to her, she's one of the biggest reasons Bronco Soccer is what it is today" commented Coach Jung on Holly. Holly's little sister Nixie (class of '18) carried on the Grajera name, while Holly attended the University of Kentucky going pre-med and majoring in Biochemistry.
Name: Anna Rees
Grad Year: 2013
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Anna was a 4-year letter winner and 3-year varsity starter, team captain both her junior and senior years. Anna is certainly one of the greatest defensive players in UG soccer history, evidenced by her 2nd-Team All Southern Lakes Conference awards in both her sophomore and junior seasons, with a 1st-Team award her senior year to go along with being named the Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year (first Bronco, boy or girl, to earn the honor). She was also named 2nd-Team All Racine County her junior year and 1st-Team as a senior. "It's easier to tell you what Anna can't do, she is the best all-around player I've ever coached" commented Coach Jung. Anna notched 8 assists and scored 2 goals in her career, and she was part of nearly every team record at the time for the Broncos including shutouts (8 in '13 & '11), wins (11 in '13), and fewest goals against (30 in '13). Anna continued her soccer career at UW-Lacrosse while going pre-med, graduating in 2018.
Name: Riley Mayer
Grad Year: 2013
Position: Forward/Mid
Accomplishments: Riley was a 4-year varsity starting midfielder and forward during her time at UG while being team captain as a senior, and her name frequently appears on the Bronco records list. While earning 2nd-Team All Southern Lakes Conference her sophomore and junior years, she earned a 1st-Team nod as a senior to go along with 2nd-Team All Racine County honors in both her junior and senior seasons. Riley is currently the 9th all-time career leading goal scorer in Bronco history with 31 total goals and is 7th in career points with 76pts. Riley capped off a brilliant career with 10 goals and 7 assists as a senior helping the Broncos set a team wins record with 11. "Riley was a huge part of this soccer program and one of our best-ever attacking players" said coach Jung. Riley continued her soccer career at the University of Dubuque in Iowa, playing all four years.
Name: Katie Michel
Grad Year: 2012
Position: Midfield
Accomplishments: Katie is perhaps the most talented pure soccer player in the history of the UG program. With an elite first touch as a central midfield player, Katie recorded 106 total points (3rd all-time) during her impressive 4-year career as a varsity starter, the latter two as team captain. Katie was one of only two freshman in the program's history (boys or girls) to earn an All-Conference award (2nd team All Southern Lakes in '09), which she followed up with 3 consecutive 1st-Team honors from her sophomore through senior years. She also earned 2nd-Team All Racine County honors as a freshman and again earned 1st-Team honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Katie is the most highly decorated player UG has ever had, further topping the Bronco record books in career assists (48) and single season assists (19 in '11). Katie had a 4-year playing career at Cardinal Stritch University.
Name: Sam MacMillian
Grad Year: 2012
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Sam was a 4-year letter winner and 3-year varsity starter as a defender for the Broncos, captaining the team her senior year. Her strongest year was likely her sophomore year when she earned a 2nd-Team All Southern Lakes Conference award, she was also part of the first Bronco team to ever win a WIAA state playoff game in 2011, but injuries took their toll in her senior year as she battled several lower body injuries, though still managing to earn an honorable mention nod in the conference. Sam's statistics are not yet available.
Name: Hayley "Scrappy" Syring
Grad Year: 2011
Position: Forward
Accomplishments: Hayley sits 3rd among UG's career leading goal scorers for the Lady Broncos with a total of 37 goals, while also recording 18 assists during her 4-year varsity career. She stands fourth all-time in total points with 92. Hayley became the first freshman in the program's history (boys or girls) to earn an All-Conference award (2nd Team All Southern Lakes Conferece '08) while earning All Racine County honorable mention as well. Hayley earned honorable mention in the conference as a sophomore and finished her career with a flourish achieving 1st Team awards in both the Southern Lakes Conference and in Racine County as a senior. She was also a 3-time offensive player of the year for the Broncos. Hayley holds a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and graduated from UW Parkside with a Police Science degree.
Name: Sarah Bretl
Grad Year: 2011
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Sarah was a 4-year varsity starter in her career and team captain her senior year. Sarah earned 1st team All Southern Lakes Conference (one of only five UG defenders to ever earn a 1st team nod) her senior year to go along with honorable mention as a junior. She was also named 1st Team All Racine County as a senior while again earning honorable mention as a junior. "Sarah was a true leader and the heart of the program, so much progress in UG soccer never happens without her," commented former coach Gregg Anderle. Sarah recorded 2 goals and 3 assists in her career as a defender, while dabbling as a goalkeeper as well. Sarah graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2015 with impressive degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Name: Cassidy Kohlhagen
Grad Year: 2009
Position: Defender
Accomplishments: Cassidy was a four-year varsity starting defender for the Broncos from 2006-2009, team captain in both her junior and senior seasons. Cassidy was named 2nd Team All Southern Lakes Conference and honorable mention All Racine County as a senior, while earned an honorable mention Conference nod as a junior. She was also a top volleyball player for Union Grove and went on to a 4-year career at UW Stevens Point.
