Thank you for visiting the Union Grove Science Club page. To the side are pictures of our aquariums here at school, and some photos of tanks at my house.
The goal of this club is to reach out to our students to bring more current science into the classroom. We will be focusing on current events, group sharing of scientific facts, and the process of science. We will work on monthly science projects where we create and complete fun little tasks as a group as well :)
We will also spend time teaching the art of fish keeping, have students learn new techniques in fish keeping, and to learn design and up keep of these beautiful pets.
We are constantly coming up with new ideas for the students to learn about, so stay tuned!
Below are photos and videos from our Aquarium Club trip to Reef-a-Palooza in Chicago on 10/20/12019. Beautiful tanks, amazing corals, and a lot of learning done by our students.
