Light-atom interactions
Romain Bachelard
I am working at the Physics Department of the Federal University of São Carlos. The main focus of my research is Anderson localization of light, collective light scattering (superradiance, subradiance...) in cold atom clouds and other platforms of quantum emitters.
If you are interested in working in our group, you can contact me at romain@ufscar.br
Opportunities :
Available (interested candidates should send a CV and academic record to romain@ufscar.br) :
a Direct PhD (Master+PhD) FAPESP scholarship (5 years) is available to work on the emission of entangled photons in disordered ensembles of quantum emitters;
a Master scholarship (24 months, from CNPq) is available to work on localization in superconducting circuits.
Candidates for Scientific Initiation / Master /PhD / Post-Doc interested in working in the group can contact me (possibility to submit scholarships proposals at any time).
A short CV (FAPESP format) available here.
