About
Who are we?
Team members are a diverse group students from majors and colleges across the University of Florida-from plant science to landscape architecture, agricultural operations to business, botany to sports management, and more. Most members participate in wide range of extracurricular activities as part of their university experience, and go on to jobs in virtually every area of the landscape and plant science industries and beyond.
Faculty coach Erin Alvarez is a lecturer with the UF/IFAS Environmental Horticulture Department. She has a professional and academic background in landscape horticulture and participated in her first NALP NCLC in 2005 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, back when it was called the ALCA Student Career Days.
