Hi y'all, I’m Carol! I’m a senior studying Art History and Political Science, and I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful community that is SA+AH. From fun clubs to classes, I am so lucky to be part of this tight-knit corner in UF and can’t wait to continue making more SA+AH folks feel right at home!

As an art lover, I’ve had the privilege and pleasure to intern with amazing artists, galleries, and museums like 4MOST Gallery, Harn Museum of Art, and most recently, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I supported the renovation and reopening of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing. I can’t wait to continue supporting future generations of artists and art historians right here in Gainesville. Art History

Hi! My name is Jonathan Hunter. I’m a fourth-year Art History major with minors in Asian Studies, Classical Studies, English, and History! Along with being an ambassador, I am also the co-president of AHA (The Art History Association here at UF) and the president of UF Quiz Bowl (trivia team, more or less). I’m super excited to be able to be a part of this program and this college!

I chose UF because it’s very close to home for me (only 40 minutes south of my hometown), so it was always my first option. I discovered upon getting here, however, that UF has so many vast options to offer and paths to go down, especially within the SA+AH! This allowed me to really shape my college experience into something that was perfect for me; as I figured out more and more things I was interested in, the SA+AH and UF were able to accommodate me!

Outside of the classroom setting, which I probably spend most of my time in or doing things related to, my hobbies include watching movies (like, a LOT of movies), reading (my favorite genres are American History, classical novels, and film), nature walks (or anywhere really, I love to wander), and the occasional dabble in photography.
