Creating multimedia involves incorporating text, video, audio, and other interactive elements to enhance the learning experience. When developing multimedia, it's crucial first to plan and design your desired content. In this case, I aimed to create an engaging timeline of the history of distance education. The next step is to develop your content, which I accomplished using Prezi. Third, you should integrate interactive elements to boost student engagement. I decided to add transitions, videos, and audio to my timeline. The following step is to review your multimedia and ensure its accessibility and compatibility across various devices. Finally, it's time to publish your content, as I have done with this timeline by embedding it in my ePortfolio. Utilizing multimedia in online learning is essential, as it enhances engagement and aids students in effectively grasping the material. The dates I included were carefully selected based on the most critical milestones in the evolution of distance education across different generations. While there were many events to choose from, I focused on the dates that I believe paved the way for the modern distance education programs we have today.

This poster is engaging and informative, highlighting how prevalent diploma mills are in society. I chose this topic because I found it astonishing to learn how much economic revenue is generated yearly from fabricating fraudulent educational records. I firmly believe employers should thoroughly screen applicants' academic records to ensure they are accurate and accredited. Can you imagine an individual with a piece of paper claiming to have a doctorate in medicine operating on you when he has no schooling? Unfortunately, there have been instances like this. As someone who values education greatly, those who operate and purchase fake educational records should be prosecuted.
