The UF College of Education 2025 Research Symposium is an opportunity for researchers, educators, and practitioners to engage in meaningful dialogue, share their work, and contribute to the ongoing advancement of education. This symposium embraces a broad and inclusive definition of research, welcoming empirical studies, theoretical explorations, program evaluations, practitioner inquiries, and historical analyses that deepen our understanding of education across diverse contexts.
We encourage participation from graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, education professionals, and community practitioners conducting research in formal and informal educational settings. Whether you are investigating teaching and learning, policy and leadership, educational technology, equity and inclusion, or interdisciplinary approaches, this symposium provides a collegial and intellectually engaging environment to present your work, receive constructive feedback, and explore innovative ideas with peers and scholars.
We invite you to join us in exploring the transformative potential of research, forging new connections, and contributing to the shared vision of the educational community.

Implications
Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines based on presentation format.
Paper Presentations (500 words max)
This presentation format provides an opportunity to present an abbreviated version of a scholarly paper (it does not have to be published). Accepted papers will be given a 15-minute time slot to present.
Roundtable Presentations (500 words max)
This format will provide an opportunity to present to a smaller group and may include research that is "in progress". This is an opportunity to receive feedback on a current project and dialogue with others about similar research interests. Roundtable presentations will be given a 20 minute time slot to present.
Poster Presentations (PDF submission)
As part of a poster session, this presentation format provides experience presenting to and interacting with others about your research. Poster formats may vary but should summarize your research in a concise and attractive manner. The COE design team has created three research poster templates on their branding page. These can be found right beneath the Powerpoint Templates for now. The templates can be accessed here. Accepted posters will be displayed in the Norman Hall Conference Center, allowing participants to freely navigate and engage with the presentations.
