Climate Smart Floridians' Program

What is the Climate Smart Floridians' Program?

The University of Florida IFAS Extension developed the Climate Smart Floridians' program to provide citizens research-based information about climate change and engaging them as volunteers to help reduce household expenses and personal greenhouse gas emissions.

The program covers climate change and how it will impact Florida. It addresses how climate change relates to topics such as landscaping, water resources, transportation, home energy, food and waste. This program will help you learn about the impacts of individual choices on climate change.

Click through each module to learn about how we can all reduce our personal greenhouse gas emissions.
