Lake County Citrus Label Tour – Citrus has a rich history in Florida and has been a major force in Florida’s agricultural economy. The citrus label tour is a self guided tour across Lake County with different stops at relevant locations to the history and current story of citrus. Crate labels that shipped citrus were often pieces of art by themselves and each sign at the stops is an example of these crate labels, along with a brief story about the location. This is a good day or half day trip around town with great stops along the way. Many more details can be found on the website. Explanation | The History of Lake (historyoflakecountycitrus.com)
