Love conquers all : Throughout the story we can see the true meaning of Love conquers all, since the story tells us about a couple of young lovers who, despite the fact that during their lives their love is involved in unfavorable circumstances but fate has another plan for them, and so we see that despite all the obstacles they face, love overcomes everything.
follow your heart: this is one of the most important themes during the story as we see Allison follow what her heart tells her, and stop doing what her family thinks is good for her, so she takes a different direction and that leads to her first love.
You cannot live your life in fear of hurting others: Allison leaves her fear of harm to her family and friends and we see her learn through some painful woods that she has to leave her fears behind, and face her family in order to make her life. how she wants and not how her family wants her to do it.
Writing: It is a symbol of power, memory and encouragement since during story writing is a fundamental part, because when Allison loses her memory, Noah reads his writings and thus manages to make his wife recognize him for a small moment.
Allie’s Paintings:It is a symbol of desire and dreams since Allison wants to be an artist, that is one of her great dreams; nevertheless, her parents let her follow her dreams and wish that all they want is for Allison to continue with the family legacy and so on, and can continue to be wealthy and prestigious.
Noah’s House: It is a symbol of dedication and love. We have already seen an adult Noah who spent at least a year of his life fixing his house, which is in very poor condition.
