Academic life
The semester at UDEM consists of various major exams, one each month and a final exam that is averaged with the monthly exams to obtain the final grade. Graded on a scale of 0 to 100, 0 is the minimum and 100 the highest grade. The minimum passing grade is 70. Please be aware that a failing grade here automatically transfers as a failing grade back home.
The UDEM student ID is the university’s official identification card. It identifies registered students and gives them access to library loans and services, and to UDEM campus grounds. The International Programs Office (DIPI) will let you know by email, when to go there to get your student ID. In the meantime, please make sure to carry any other ID in order to enter the campus.
Information technology
Wireless internet access
If you have a laptop computer, Smartphone or an electronic device with wireless capabilities, you can sign on to UDEM's free wireless network using your UDEM username and password.
Computer facilities
On campus, students can access computers equipped with the Microsoft Office suite at the UDEM library and in the residence hall.
Portal UDEM
Portal UDEM is a one-stop shop for students, faculty and staff to access personalized resources online. The website provides links to your UDEM email account, course material and grades, campus information, news and events. To enter you will be provided with a username and password.
Blackboard
The Blackboard platform is used by students and teachers, as a tool to manage the courses of each semeste. To have access you will need the same username and password to enter Portal UDEM.

Campus map
This map will be very useful to move around the campus, you can also visit the official UDEM website. As well, you can access to the virtual tour through de UDEM facilities in the 360° Tour website. The International Programs Office (DIPI) is located in ESTOA level "A".
Apps
The following applications will be very useful during your stay at UDEM, they can all be downloaded and installed for free in the AppStore (for iOS) and in Google Play (for Android)
In the UDEM app, you can check your courses, partial grades, announcements, events, news, etc. As well, you can check Kardex or your digital student ID.
In the Blackboard app, you can enter the platform of the same name, where you can find all the available content for each of your subjects, like calendars, assignments, exams, annoucements, etc.
The Urbvan app helps you to keep in touch with the Circuito UDEM services.
