Spring 2025 Case Competition

In the Spring semester of 2025, PMC members competed in an internal venture capital case competition. The focus of the competition was on later-stage ventures as teams were asked to pitch the idea of participating in a hypothetical Series D funding round for Waymo. The teams spent weeks researching the industry, considering fundamental factors such as Waymo’s TAM opportunity, competitive positioning, unit economics, and potential risks. The teams used this research to determine if they should make the investment based on their calculation of IRR. (Spring 2025)
