Currently, I am a part-time copywriter for the External Affairs team at Westside Family Healthcare. As I pursue my PhD, I am open to part-time copywriting opportunities. Copywriter, Westside Family Healthcare (September 2023 - Present) 

• Conducts research on available state and federal grants, identifying opportunities that align with Westside's mission to increase access to quality healthcare for all, regardless of ability to pay.

• Collaborates closely with the External Affairs team to fulfill copywriting needs as-needed.

• Crafts compelling narratives to support fundraising efforts and donor engagement initiatives. 

• Leverages strong writing and storytelling skills to convey Westside's impact on Delaware communities across a variety of writing tasks, including grant applications, impact statements, and press releases. 

• Maintains a database of grant opportunities, deadlines, and statuses to optimize workflow and meet grant deadlines. 

Nonprofit Management Fellow, Westside Family Healthcare (July 2023 - September 2023) 

• Assisted the External Affairs team with writing-related tasks, such as a CHNA, grant proposals, and website content. 

• Developed a strong understanding of Westside's story, in order to create stronger narratives for written content. 

• Published press releases about significant events, including the announcement of a new President & CEO.
