The annual Imagining Community Symposium brings together community members, nonprofit organizations, and local universities for meaningful dialogue, presentations, artistic expressions, and workshops. Each year, the Symposium focuses on a community-identified topic that requires deeper engagement. Drawing over 500 attendees and featuring 80+ presenters, the Symposium has hosted nationally recognized speakers and rising scholars whose impactful work is gaining national recognition.
The 2026 Imagining Community Symposium, themed "Civic Hope & Belonging," will take place October 15-16, 2026, at Daniel J. Curran Place. The symposium is free to all. Full agenda and details are forthcoming.
