Channel Leaders are students who want to step up and take more of a role in shaping their community. No leadership experience or technical expertise necessary! Channel Leaders do everything from sharing motivational strategies to helping their peers work through technical challenges.
Channel Leaders are go-to students in the community committed to supporting their peers. Channel Leaders may lead a Slack channel, organize events, or plan initiatives. Here are some of the ways students have stepped into this role in the past:
Channel Leaders can "own" a Slack channel, where their role is to make sure that everyone in that channel is getting answers to their questions.
While channel leaders are not expected to know the answer to every single question, we do ask that folks sign up to lead an area that they feel excited and confident in!
While Udacity provides the course content to build, train, and deploy your AWS DeepRacer model , we know that there are many other resources that can be helpful to students, and this is a great opportunity for Channel Leaders to step in!
In the past, Channel Leaders have created databases to store resources, developed study buddy programs, helped organize study groups, and created programs that strengthened the community.
