This award is open to students studying any form of visual and/or performing arts who write an essay expressing their views on creativity and courage. Releasing art into the world involves overcoming fear and self-doubt. Even the most successful artists grapple with questions like “am I good enough?” or “will people like this?” If you’re a creative student who has ever struggled with these questions, we encourage you to apply for this scholarship!

This scholarship is for high school students who have struggled with mental health, or have loved ones with mental health challenges. Participants must write a story of less than 1,000 words explaining how their experience with mental health has shaped their goals, relationships, and understanding of the world. Click for more info!

Those applying must plan to attend college during the fall semester of the year they apply. Additionally, students must attach a letter of acceptance from the college they intend to attend, as well as a recommendation letter from a teacher, mentor, or employer.
