The programming project is worth 20% of your overall A-Level grade and as such it is an incredibly useful tool in helping you secure the A-Level grade that you deserve. Past students have remarked that it has considerably relieved their stress entering the exam knowing that they have secured a high mark in this coursework project.
The resources on this page have been designed to help you maximise the marks you can achieve from your project whilst minimising the amount of writing you need to do to achieve these marks. Please ensure you use the guidance available here to the best of your ability!
This is ultimately where your marks are awarded from, everything you do must be related to one of the points within the markscheme otherwise there is no point in doing it. It is highly recommended that you make a heading within your document for each of the bullet points within the markscheme to help ensure that you don't miss any marks.
This document has been carefully written to help break down the markscheme (linked above) and help you understand what each of the mark scheme points might actually look like in practice. This document should be your main source of guidance through the programming project.
This document provides a rough framework for your project documentation. It is designed to help you make sure that you hit all of the success criteria laid out by the markscheme. You should use this in conjunction with the Computing and Schools Project Guidance document (to the left).
