Soft Memories is an interactive textile installation that transforms tactile interaction into an emotional and sensory experience. At its core, the project reimagines knitted fabric not just as material, but as interface each patch embedded with conductive yarn acts as a pressure-sensitive trigger. When touched, these patches activate pre recorded stories, ambient sounds, or voice fragments, drawing the viewer into a network of memory, emotion, and sensory recall. This project the sterile, screen based norm of digital interaction by introducing warmth, softness, and bodily intimacy into the interface itself. Inspired by traditions of handcraft and textile experimentation, Soft Memories want to blends technology with tenderness, creating a space where personal or imagined memories are not just seen or heard also felt.
