Our new 3-bin compost system allows us to collect food waste from Canyon Vista and the UCSD community. Our members and volunteers process the organic material into compost which is then used as an organic fertilizer in the garden.Â

Our new fence will be made of redwood and aviary mesh and hopefully, it'll keep the rabbits from eating all our plants.

Plots are rented out to people in the UCSD community for up to a year max. It's completely free and we just ask that the plot holders maintain the plots for the agreed amount of time.

Our garden is located on a hill so the plots are divided into several levels. The upper row is starting to erode so we need to build a retaining wall to prevent the soil from slipping out from under the plots.
