Our team used Google Sheets as a source of what personas we would present to our audience watching the prototyping and then give them a link to a group chat (Instagram) to simulate the collaboration and facilitation that the app would provide.
We as the administrative team gave the "new team members" the task to create a time that everyone is available to meet for the first brainstorm which simulates how the app will facilitate collaboration and interaction between members.
To simulate the process of creating your profile on our app, we used google forms. The form had our audience put in their personal information like name, date of birth, city, etc. They also had to select their skills in UI/UX or Development and rate their preferences for roles when being matched into groups for the Design Challenge of the Month.
After assigning each member of the audience to a persona, through the Google Sheets, this would then direct our audience to their assigned groups.
At the bottom of the page there are QR codes and links that will direct the audience to a Instagram group chat to simulate the way that potential users would interact with one another.
We then tasked the audience to set a time to meet (to simulate the app facilitating scheduling, what to do in order to take a guiding role for those that are new to design & development) and prearranged that time to be Tuesday at 8:00 PM and following that, communicating potential design ideas if there is time.
