As of 1/26/2022: Meetings and special events that can be held remotely should be held online unless the in-person experience is critical. It is strongly recommended that all in-person meetings and special events are temporarily convened outdoors. We will continue to evaluate the public health conditions and update our guidelines when appropriate.
Event definition: Any planned gathering at UC San Diego, including but not limited to celebrations, lectures, forums, social gatherings, speaker presentations or conferences where 25 or more people are in attendance or reasonably anticipated to be in attendance.
Does NOT include: Academic classes or seminars, department meetings, lab meetings or other routine business meetings.
(3) Find Staff Support & Location
Primary staff contact: Front desk Language Lab & Library (AP&M 3432A)
Student workers will be able to support most department operations or find a staff member that can help
Staff are now working on a hybrid schedule:
There will be a minimum of 2 staff members on-campus each day to support department operations
Note: Most staff will be working in their office with the door closed!
Staff not on-site will be working remotely and available by e-mail, phone, or a Zoom appointment
They can still help with many things:
Put in a facilities request
Place an order
Answer questions
Help find someone to help you!
Shared Space Guidelines

Wipe down surfaces before/after use
Leave spaces in the same layout as you found them
