Getting to your sessions
The 2024 IA Symposium will be utilizing the Zoom breakout room feature for most sessions. In order to access your session, you will need to ensure you are registered for the symposium, which will give you access to the main room ("Lobby"). From the main room, you will be able to select the session you would like to attend through the breakout room window by clicking "Join". Engaged Teaching staff will be available in the Lobby throughout the symposium to support you with getting to your session and to answer any questions you may have.

We invite you to begin the symposium in the company of experienced Instructional Assistants from across campus as they discuss suggestions on preparing for your first day of teaching, including considerations for community building, time management, and how to prepare without over-preparing, with time reserved specifically for participant questions.
