Every Graduate Open Studios, students organize a show in the Main Gallery that displays the work being produced in the Visual Arts Department. This year, the curatorial team James M Dailey and Xelestial Moreno-Luz put out a call for artists to respond to the theme of Superseding Limits, a space where sculpture, photography, installation, painting, mixed media, poetry, collage, video, and design reckon with displacement, genocide, colonialism, and institutional limits. This show not only includes graduate students in Visual Arts, but graduate students from the Literature Department. The gallery dates/hours are from Feb 23–28/ 11 - 7 PM, and will close Feb 28th.
