Our product uses GPS to pinpoint on-campus user locations during an online classroom environment, allowing people to be paired up with people in their physical space to better interact with peers. Picture a breakout room, but face-to-face. Geogreet moves people into groups that are close by, so they then have the option to physically meet without having to travel very far.
Geogreet allows people to move into a physical space while remaining in an online environment, effectively bridging the divide between online and in-person learners. This added functionality could prove beneficial in studio classroom environments, or any other class that requires hands on work. Learners, through Geogreet, have a variety of options available to them that wouldn't normally be present in a typical online classroom. They have the ability to fully remain remote, meet with nearby people, or at the very least note where people are and plan to meet together in the future.
