Going Beyond the Fundamentals
Going Beyond the Fundamentals
If you've already tackled the fundamentals - understanding GenAI, Appreciating the GenAI Landscape, Discussing GenAI with your Students, Crafting your GenAI & AI Policy, Securing Assessments, and Responding to Potential GenAI misuse, then you might be ready to go beyond the fundamentals.
In this section, suggestions are provided for rethinking teaching and assessment in the age of AI. These suggestions stem from the research on cheating which suggests that students who are engaged in learning, find assessments meaningful, and perceive good instruction, are more intrinsically motivated to learn and therefore less likely to cheat (or in this case, misuse AI).
