Clock Page of Bhavana

Objectives

During this project, the designing and building of the clock will teach us to use skills such as using CAD and LaserCAMMs. Additionally, we will learn to use advanced mechanical equipment to create and modify the pieces of the clocks. Along with these manufacturing skills, we will also learn analytical skills as we compare different analytical predictions to study our builds.

Outcomes

This project will result in the creation of a working pendulum clock, along with the understanding of calculating Inertia, which is the amount of energy required to move an object, and Oscillation, which is the back and forth movement at a steady pace. We also grew in learning to manage time and solving challenges that arose during the process of building the clocks.
