WELCOME TO OUR PROJECT PAGE
The most important part of campus life is a COMMUNITY that is inclusive and safe. Being a part of a community brings a sense of belonging, familiarity, spirit, and connectivity.
Understanding and incorporating INTERSECTIONALITY is necessary to create a safe and inclusive space for students, staff, and faculty. The campus must support all individuals of multi-layered identities (sex, gender, class, race, nationality, religion, disability, and more) so that students can confidently and comfortably feel at home.
GRASSROOTS activism is the predominant mindset that Marshall College was built upon. We cannot forget what students fought for to procure representation and equity on campus. This is especially pertinent to the BIPOC community on campus who fought and still fight against injustices at UCSD and the broader UC system.
