Data Integrated Medical Dashboard

Abstract

Problem Statement:

The healthcare industry faces significant challenges with communication due to various healthcare standard formats, disorganized data coming from multiple sources, and poorly structured terminologies. These issues create ambiguity, making it difficult for patients and clinicians to understand and communicate health-related information effectively. 

Solution:

To address this challenge, we developed a platform that aggregates health statistics from various sources (Apple Health, Oura Ring, and Patients’ Life Events), enabling patients and clinicians to access an individual’s health data in one place, facilitating more informed and structured medical diagnoses. The platform integrates and visualizes health data into longitudinal dashboards with biometric features, life events, and Pearson Correlation graphs, helping users identify correlations that exist between different health metrics. In the future, we aim to enhance the platform by extracting data from the Epic API and improving the visualizations with more variables, providing even more useful insights for patients and clinicians.
