Bioengineering: Biotechnology
Anne worked on fabrication of the PCL plug, developing testing protocols, establishing communications with the vendors, the mentor, and the acquisition of lab space.
Bioengineering: Bioengineering
You-Cheng worked on CAD design of the anchor and the Mark-10 fixtures for the cheap spine model, FEA analysis of anchor and plug, and 3D printing of all components with PLA or resin.
Bioengineering: Bioengineering
Patrick worked on adjusting the CAD of the plug, developing testing protocols, fabricating the PCL plug, making full CAD assembly with the spine, the anchor, and the plug.
Bioengineering: Bioengineering
Mitsuhiro worked on the CAD of the initial plug design and the fixtures of the Sawbones model, 3D printing of all components with PLA or resins, and developing testing protocols.
To our mentor Jeff Brittan for taking the time to give us feedback on our designs and ideas.
Thank you to Jeff for coordinating the Mark-10 machine use and Watershed Idea Foundry tour! Thank you to David for setting up and helping with Mark-10 testing
To the Basement for providing us with a workspace with tools and 3D printers which were integral to our prototyping process.
To Christine and Jacques from the Basement leadership team for helping coordinate this!
To Mahika Lunker, our TA, for her feedback and help.
To Dr. Wheeler for putting the course together and allowing us to experience this project through the Bioengineering curriculum.
