Compost Engineering Challenge! 

The UCSC Seed Spoon Science team is organizing a compost engineering challenge!  The challenge is to design a cheap, DIY, and rat proof home composting system. You will build your prototype in one of the campus gardens. All equipement will be paid for. Round 2 participants will receive a stipend. Anyone with an interest in this topic can participate in Round 1. Please click the information tab to find out more!

*No compost experience necessary, you will learn about composting along the way!*

Winner receives an Apple MacBook Air and the possibility to participate in a summer research project in 2025 + video advertisement of work.
