The University can terminate a housing contract with three days' notice for non-compliance or payment issues, or with 30 days' notice for general reasons. Students may request cancellation under specific conditions, such as graduation or hardship, but must get written approval to finalize it. A $350 cancellation fee may apply, and any approved cancellation typically voids existing housing guarantees. Students are responsible for vacating the premises and may face charges for damages or unreturned keys. Appeals can be made to the Housing Appeal Board if a cancellation request is denied.
