In the memo line (or on a separate note), please indicate that it is a Giving Day matching gift  for the fund of your choice. Please make the check payable to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation.

DAF

If you would like to direct a donor-advised fund donation to Giving Day. Please indicate that in the purpose information or additional information section of your request to your DAF organization. You may also send an email to giftadmin@ucsc.edu indicating the expected amount, fund you would like to support, and that the gift is a matching gift for Giving Day. 

IRA

If you would like to direct a gift from your IRA to Giving Day. Please indicate that in the purpose information or additional information section of your request to your IRA holder—each process is slightly different. You may also send an email to giftadmin@ucsc.edu indicating the expected amount, fund you would like to support, and that the gift is a matching gift for Giving Day. 

Employer Matching Gifts

If you would like to submit your Giving Day gift to be matched by your employer, please follow the instructions for doing so within your employee matching portal. Employer matches are received in many different ways, often weeks to months after Giving Day has concluded. If possible, please indicate in your employer portal that your gift was a Giving Day gift, and we will apply it to the proper fund when it is received.
