Family Day in Downtown Santa Cruz

Friday marks the exciting start of UC Santa Cruz Family Weekend! Families arriving on Friday can check in and register at Woodstock’s Pizza, a perfect spot to grab a bite while connecting with other families. Afterward, you have the freedom to explore the vibrant downtown Santa Cruz, venture to other scenic areas of the city, or meet up with your student and embark on your own adventure together. It's the perfect way to ease into the weekend and get a feel for the local community.

Kick-off UC Santa Cruz Family Weekend with Friday Check-In at Woodstock's Pizza. Meet up with other families and enjoy some delicious pizza before heading out to explore the vibrant downtown Santa Cruz. It's the perfect opportunity to grab your materials early and discover the local shops, cafés, and attractions that make our coastal city unique.

Downtown parking is available for a nominal fee at the Soquel Front Garage (Soquel & Front Street) and the River Front Garage (River St). Guests should not park in the Trader Joe's & Woodstock's lot, which is very small and usually full.
