EEB research courses allow EEB majors to receive academic credit for participating in research at UCSC. Completion of 5 units of undergraduate research may be used to satisfy one EEB General Elective. However, you do not need to enroll in undergraduate research courses to do work in an EEB research lab and can choose to volunteer instead.
All research courses require support of a faculty sponsor to enroll; click on the Faculty Advising page in the menu to learn more.
Enrollment requires submission of an Undergraduate Research Contract.
Courses require 3 hours of field or lab work per week per unit.
