These are many of the wild flowers we saw on our 2023 coast to coast car trip. There were many many more. It was a great time to make this drive. On a separate page I will share some of the many flower photos that Linda and I took in the many arboretums and botanical gardens that we visited as well as from walks in cities.

There weren't a lot of flowers on our hike at Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge near Las Vegas New Mexico, but we did find a bit of color.
We saw many fields of flowers starting in Oklahoma. As you can see, at this point we have figured out how to mostly avoid the interstate highways. The following 5 photos are also all from Oklahoma.
We first encountered Tulip Trees in Tennessee, then continued to see them in several other states.
