Micropublication:biology is an exciting new publication venue for the C. elegans community and we are fortunate enough to have the Micropublication team on site (Paul Sternberg, Tim Schedl, Daniela Raciti, Karen Yook, Todd Harris). Micropublications are peer-reviewed small snippets of data that can be cited as they have digital object identifiers (DOIs), Micropublication:biology has already published results from Genetic screens, Methods, Phenotype, Genotype, and Gene Expression analysis and is happy to work with you to get your data in, no matter the type of data.
To increase community awareness of this platform we are having a Micropublication Jamboree at BAWM 2018. We will have reviewers lined up with the goal of getting submitted papers reviewed and published ASAP. We will have a separate prize for the best micropublication submitted by April 17th. So get those small pieces of data that you've not been able to publish in larger (macro?) publications ready and submit them before or at the meeting. The Team will be on site and ready to help you submit your micropublication.
