Code of conduct

The Bay Area Planetary Sciences (BAPS) conference was started to bolster collaborations and community among planetary scientists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We want the conference to be a safe, supportive, and exciting environment for all planetary scientists regardless of their career level, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, religion, or nationality.

Please be kind and considerate toward others at the conference. We expect all participants to be professional and respectful in their speech and actions.

Refrain from using demeaning or derogatory speech. Discriminatory, harassing, or violent behavior are not allowed. Instead foster a welcoming environment to building a strong and supportive community.
