Parking at UCSB
All UC Campuses have reciprocal parking agreements, which means that if you pay for a faculty parking permit on your home campus, you do not need to pay for a permit at UCSB if you will be parking on campus for less than 5 days.
To take advantage of this program at UCSB, you must create an account with the UCSB parking office. You MUST create your account prior to the conference by following these steps via the "E-permit approval request":
1. Click this link to make an account. Please be sure to input all information required with a red asterisk.
2. Enter your vehicle information.
3. The UCSB TPS Sales Team will review your account and approve you to upload your UC Permit. Once approved, you will receive an email instructing you to return to your account.
4. Log onto your account. Click "ePermit Approval Request/TAP Application," and then click the red "here" button.
5. Click "Vehicle Registration Attachment."
6. Upload a photo / screenshot of your permit under Vehicle Registration. Submit.
7. The TPS Team will review your permits and issue your reciprocity permit. You will get an email confirmation once the permit is issued.
Lot 3 and 9 are the nearest to the Interactive Learning Pavilion Building; both have faculty spots available. Lot 6 also has faculty spots and costal access. You can find a comprehensive list of parking lots here.
With your reciprocal parking pass, you are able to park in any faculty/staff parking lot. Most faculty/staff lots will also have pay-by-the-hour (or day) passes available for purchase at machines in the lot.
