Our Mission
Our Mission
As residents and students from the Inland Empire, we see the discrimination and overcrowding in our emergency rooms and are dedicated to increasing awareness of our community's struggles in emergency medicine and educating residents of the Riverside and San Bernardino County on how to approach health emergencies. Through this website and Community Health Project in accordance with the 2021 Future Physician Leaders Program from the UCR School of Medicine, we strive to inform and provide resources to our community members on how to react and prevent some of the three most prominent emergency medicine emergencies: cuts & lacerations, chest pain, and traumatic brain injury.

Future Physician Leaders
The Future Physician Leaders Program at the UC Riverside School of Medicine selects "college and high school students living in the Inland Southern California region who are interested in serving their community and pursuing a career in medicine." Participants create a collaborative group project "aimed at preparing Inland Southern California students to become physician leaders in the community" and "to actively work on improving healthcare access and community health." (UCR School of Medicine, School of Medicine Future Physician Leaders 2021)
